Project brief
01 What Podcast Cover Design Vol. 01 needed
A podcast cover is the show's entire visual identity, competing in a grid where every square renders thumbnail-sized. The brief asked for covers that stay legible at 64 pixels, carry each show's tone from folk horror to comedy interviews, and give listeners a hook they recognize episode after episode.
02 How the studio approached it
WOBL treated each cover as a brand lockup rather than an illustration, pairing a scalable subject with display typography tuned for thumbnail legibility. The collection alternates styles across show genres, so the volume demonstrates range while each cover keeps its own silhouette.
03 What came out of it
These podcast covers were designed for independent podcasters, podcast production companies, and brands looking to develop a visually compelling identity for their show. Whether the audience is niche or broad, these designs help to make podcasts feel professional, engaging, and instantly recognizable, building trust and connection with listeners from the first glance.
